Kerith Ravine

As we gathered together virtually last week, we considered two stories.

The first was about how God miraculously provided for the prophet and a widow.
Elijah in the Kerith ravine and the woman baking bread with supplies that didn’t run out.
Both of those sound pretty nice to me.
I’m not sure of the specific ways God will provide for each of us, but I’m sure God will.
As this season stretches on the provision may take more creative forms and come from unexpected places, but it will certainly require us to acknowledge our need.
You need the God.
Find a little corner of time today to voice a need to God…then be sensitive to response.
It could come from an unlikely person, or take you to unlikely places.
Tomorrow morning we’ll gather virtually on instagram and facebook again to consider another story from the scriptures where God meets needs.
